Dawn Conn sculpture proudly presents her debut garden, 'Essence of life' at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

In a world that is changing rapidly, the connection to and protection of nature is something that Dawn Conn values deeply.

Dawn, joined forces with garden designer Emma O’Connell of Emma O'Connell garden designHenry White of Reclaimed Design and Kamil Rybak of London Hard Landscapes to design and build her debut Chelsea Flower Show 2023 trade show garden.

‘Essence of Life’ has been designed as an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with nature’s pace.

These natural settings allow you to take a step back and appreciate the beauty and simplicity of the nature around you.

The garden will show off her new collection of bronze sculptures in a naturalistic setting featuring a pair of reclaimed lock gates, a moving water course and sustainable planting inspired by the UK’s extensive network of canal habitats including both flood and drought tolerant species.

After many years contemplating, I am thrilled to be part of this iconic British event.

It has been an 11 month rollercoaster journey to proud launch my new collection ('the botanical girls') that will be showcased in the 'Essence of Life' garden.

Through sculpture, I am able to express myself in a way that feels authentic and true to who I am. It's given me a sense of purpose that I consider a true gift.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with such talented team artisans to create the 'Essence of Life' garden to showcase my sculptures.

From the wonder and joy of childhood to the beauty of the natural world, each sculpture tells a unique and captivating story.

Dawn's art is more than just a reflection of her own life experiences;

it's a celebration of the human spirit and all that makes us truly alive.
